Empty Shell is an FPS in which you impersonate an advanced prototype of a military droid, called R3-B3L, which turns out to be sentient, whose goal is to escape and survive attacks from the AI commander of the space base who considers you a threat.

Level Design
In this project I was responsible for the Level Design and development of the final level of a Sci-Fi Fps game in Unreal Engine.

Value Proposition: Focus on making "PRO" actions accessible even for those with less dexterity (e.g., Jump-Pad)

Level Design based on properly exploiting the use of the Sniper and Assault Rifle.

Level explanation
Sequence 1: R3-B3L is approached and threatened by the AI who invites him to surrender to her, but this will continue by going through the guarded warehouse acquiring the sniper rifle.

Sequence 2: R3-B3L once he has overcome this resistance will find himself in the storage room built on two floors, which is also guarded to prevent his arrival in the control room.


Sequence 3: After being contacted again by the spaced-out AI, R3-B3L will have to activate the base self-destruct by passing inside the 'office where they will ambush him.
Once the self-destruct timer is activated, R3-B3L will have to get to the rescue shuttle by continuing through the Hangar.

Sequence 4: R3-B3L arrived inside the Hangars, now he will have to manage to reach the last available ship as quickly as possible without getting killed by the last droids doing surveillance.

Once he reaches the ship R3-B3L will be able to escape and survive the explosion.

Narrative and Pacing
R3-B3L will have to initially escape from the factory warehouse and cross a room with security to reach the AI control room where it will activate the self-destruct countdown timer.

Once the timer is activated R3-B3L will have to overtake the last overhanging area in the void to reach the spacecraft and escape.
